Data sharing with smart charging of electric vehicles

 

Dear participant,

thank you for your interest in this study.

This study is conducted at the department FINATRAX of SnT, University of Luxembourg. By your participation, you support our research project on data sharing with electric vehicle charging. It takes a maximum of 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. 

There are no right or wrong answers, we are only interested in your true and honest perspective. You can can withdraw from the study at any time without consequences. But to ensure that the results of our study are meaningful, we would ask you to answer the survey completely and seriously. Participation in the survey is voluntary and open to anybody aged 18 and over. You can terminate the survey any time without stating reasons. All data will be kept strictly confidential. We recommand conducting the survey on a computer.

At the end of the study you can take part in a lottery for five Amazon vouchers (1* 100€, 1* 40€, 3* 20€).

We need certain personal data to answer our research questions as part of the project. This is because we want to find out what influence demographic variables such as age have on the perception of incentives.  However, the data is collected anonymously and it is not possible to draw any conclusions about your person. In addition, the data is treated strictly confidentially.

We collect the Personal Data directly, as provided by you.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is laid down in:

Article 6 GDPR: the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes; the person has given his or her consent by participating to this survey.

The Personal Data provided by you are kept for a duration of three years. The data will be used for the evaluation of this study and will serve as a basis for the planning of a further study. After the three years, the data will be deleted.

  1. APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION

The present Notice shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Luxembourgish law.

Any dispute concerning the existence, interpretation or performance of this Notice which cannot be settle amicably, shall fall within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Luxembourg City, without prejudice to the rights of the Data Subjects to bring the matters before the court where he or she has her place of residence as well as its right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
